This Privacy Policy explains how Strange Studios (“we”, “us”) collects and uses your personal information when you visit strangestudios.co.uk or get in touch with us. We are a garden room and joinery business based in Hitchin, Hertfordshire, United Kingdom.
What we collect
When you submit our contact form we collect the name, email address, phone number (if you provide it) and any details you include in your message. Our hosting and security tools may also automatically log technical data such as your IP address and browser type, for security and to keep the site running.
Why we use it
We use the information you provide solely to respond to your enquiry and to discuss and carry out the work you ask us about. Our lawful basis is your consent together with our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries about our services. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for marketing without your consent.
How it is stored
Enquiries are sent to our email and may be stored within our website (WordPress / WPForms), which is hosted by Hostinger. We keep enquiry data only as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and to keep reasonable business records, after which it is deleted.
Sharing
We do not share your personal information with third parties except the service providers who help us run the website (such as our hosting provider), and only as far as needed to provide the service. Our site links to external profiles such as Instagram, which have their own privacy policies.
Cookies
This site uses a small number of functional cookies needed for the website and its caching to work properly. We do not currently use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
